Person should have Diploma or Degree in the field of Computer Science or Networking with minimum 2 years of work experience in a technical support position. Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/ WAN environment

Industry certifications, this can include A+, N+ and/or MCSE/ CCNA
Analytical and problem solving skills
Good communication (both verbal and written) skills
Superior customer service and support skills.
